About

The best political chats don’t happen in pubs, over a pint or three, are never taken seriously. That’s the spirit of our podcast, Craft Politics.

We’re Andrew Percy, a former Member of Parliament in the UK, and Joseph Lavoie, a former senior advisor to Canadian prime ministers and cabinet ministers.

Between us, we’ve logged decades in politics, government, and business. Which means we’ve made mistakes you can learn from. But we’ve also shared plenty of laughs (and a few too many beers) while making sense of the way politics really works.

If you want to listen in on two friends talking politics at the pub, join us. We may not always be witty or appropriate, but if you want our takes on Canadian and UK Politics, we'd love to have you pull up a stool.

And manage your expectations accordingly.
